Tips and Tricks Computer Programs in Block Access

If you do not want just anyone to access the programs on your computer. One way is by blocking access to a number of programs you want. Here I will give tips to block access to programs on your computer. These tips only work for the operating system Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

  • Click Start-> Run and type "gpedit.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter to open Group Policy Editor.
  • In the Group Policy Editor window, open the User Configuration-> Administrative Templates-> System.
  • Find an item in the right window named "Run only allowed Windows applications" and double click the item.
  • In the Settings window, select the Enabled option. Then click the Show button on the bottom.
  • In the window that appears enter the name of the executable file of the application will not be blocked  (in-block), such as photoshop.exe for Photoshop, word.exe for Microsoft Word, excel.exe for Microsoft Excel, notepad.exe to Notepad, and so on .
  • Click OK, after blocking all programs that DO NOT want to block, click OK to the previous window, and complete.

Good luck.
