Online Poll Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) shows, 83% of respondents chose 'Go Green' to save IT costs. HDS poll conducted on the official website (www.hds.com / APAC / itia) conducted to solicit public opinion concerning the application of IT technologies in their companies.
"Environmental issues are increasingly influential when it comes to IT budgets, data center design, and its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)", said Edwin Lim, Country Manager of Hitachi Data Systems Indonesia.
Edwin also argued that the organization must bsia take a more holistic approach as well as closely examining how each part of the data center can improve the environmental impact to reduce power consumption levels.
In addition, HDS offers an environmentally friendly approach and responsible to society in terms of managing explosive data growth, by providing technology and services to help customers implement storage solution that is more environmentally friendly as well as cost effective.
